Day II

Trance-Formations by way of
Hypnoanalytic Techniques 

You will experience clinical training in the theory and applications of hypnoanalytic techniques and various age regression procedures for the treatment of phobias, fears, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. A format of lecture, demonstrations, practicum, and supervision is used to convey unique methodologies with which every clinician should be aware. These techniques will highlight talk therapy results and is guaranteed to lend an array of additional insights, working through, release of feelings, etc.

  • Seven Keys to problem origin (Cheek & Le Cron)
  • Age Regression techniques & Demonstrations
  • The Regressive and Progressive approaches
  • Feeling Focus to achieve catharsis
  • Case examples

  • Birth Imprinting (Video Shown)
  • Affect Bridge (going back on a feeling instead of cognitive thought)
  • Applications to the various disorders
  • Integration with other psychotherapeutic and hypnotherapeutic techniques
  • Practice and supervision

 Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the session, by observation, by the instructor, or by the demonstration with another student, students will be able to…

 
  • Articulate the Seven Keys to the origin of the problematic situations, (e.g. the work of Cheek, M.D. and Le Cron).
 
  • Present an appropriate case situation for each of the Seven Keys, illustrating the concept presented.
 
  • Construct an age regression, utilizing methodology to return to a past traumatic situation and utilize the Seven Keys.
 
  • Identify when to use the Feeling Focus procedure for catharsis.
 
  • Convert any release of feelings into an Affect Bridge by John Watkins.
 
  • Bring the patient back to a state of awareness and integrate the findings into the total picture.
