TRANCE-FORMATIONS: The Magic of NLP
(Neuro-Linguistic Programming) 

You will learn outstanding structured and powerful tools to add to your existing repertoire.  These procedures selected by Dr. Field blend beautifully with other psychotherapeutic and hypnotherapeutic methodologies. In fact Dr. Field has written a paper on just that, entitled NLP as an Adjunct to Other Psychotherapeutic / Hypnotherapeutic Interventions, published in the January 1990 edition of the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis.  These specific skills make up a good part of NLP workshops costing as much as $3000 for the training.

Based on the approaches of Milton H. Erickson - NLP is "the study of the structure of subjective experiences".

Workshop Outline:

  • Anchoring 

  • Indexing

  • The 3-Part Dissociation

  • The Swish Technique

Workshop format will include demonstrations, explanations and one-on-one practice experiences.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the session, by observation, by the instructor, or by the demonstration with another student, students will be able to…

 
  • Construct the procedures for:

    Anchoring
    Indexing
    Three Part Dissociation
 
  • Blend the above techniques into other psychotherapeutic and hypnotherapeutic interventions (the work of Eleanor S. Field, Ph.D., ASCH Journal, 1990).
 
  • Discuss and assess the use of these procedures to accomplish SHORT TERM THERAPY.
 
  • Articulate when the above procedures can be used for CRISIS INTERVENTION.
 
  • Discuss and assess when the 3 Part Dissociation can be the choice for a FINAL CATHARSIS ("Dessert’s Dessert").
 
  • Apply these techniques to a case study… to be presented and discussed.
